Carlito pinned John Cena in his very first match on SmackDown

Carlito made his main roster debut back in 2004 and immediately made a big impact by defeating John Cena for the WWE US title. He went on to win the Intercontinental Title and the Tag Team titles with Primo. In 2008, he was drafted to WWE SmackDown during the Supplemental Draft and turned face by teaming up with his brother, Primo.

The duo defeated Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins in their first match. Their biggest moment came when they defeated John Morrison and The Miz to unify the Tag Team titles of both brands at WrestleMania 25. A WWE Wellness Policy violation led to Carlito's release from the company in 2010.

In October 2004, Carlito took on John Cena in his debut match on the main roster on SmackDown. Dubbed as "Carlito Caribbean Cool" at the time, he used a steel chain during the final moments of the match to knock Cena out, followed by an easy pin over the popular SmackDown Superstar.
