Orlando Jordan defeated John Cena for the US title
Fans might remember Orlando Jordan for his stint as a member of JBL's Cabinet. He didn't do much of note in WWE, the exception being a short-lived US Title run on the SmackDown brand. The reign ended when Jordan met Chris Benoit in the opening match of SummerSlam 2005. The match didn't even last a minute and Benoit quickly made Jordan tap out to the Crippler Crossface.

Jordan had won the United States title months before this loss, on the Road to WrestleMania 21. John Cena had bagged an opportunity at JBL's WWE title and faced off against Jordan on an episode of WWE SmackDown mere days away from WrestleMania.
Jordan pinned Cena and won his only title in WWE with some help from JBL. John Cena went on to defeat JBL for the WWE title at The Show of Shows. Jordan was released from WWE in mid-2006. Reports suggested that the release came after Jordan brought in unauthorized people backstage. He later had a brief stint in IMPACT Wrestling and also wrestled on the independent circuit.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
