#3 Konnan
Konnan was a major player during the WCW days. He was compared to the likes of men like Hulk Hogan in Mexico and was definitely a big thing for a Superstar from Mexico during the 80s and 90s.
Konnan rose to fame when he joined the New World Order (nWo) in July 1997, after which his hip-hop based gimmick caught the attention of the fans. He was generally regarded as the faction’s “coolest” member as was nicknamed "K-Dogg."
He wasn’t just a great wrestler, but he was also played a major role in signing new Mexican talent to the WWE which eventually helped create the Cruiserweight division in the company.
While he wasn’t the biggest star on the roster during his time, he was still a big Superstar who deserves to be recognized by the company for his services.
However, Konnan’s outspoken attitude led him to openly talk about the promotions that mistreated him and took advantage of his talent, including WWE.
He was also critical of WWE releasing Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio on separate occasions, and this wouldn’t have worked well with the top management of the company.
Keeping in mind that Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman of the nWo will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020, it seems like Konnan will never find room in the prestigious Hall Of Fame.
