#2 Rob Van Dam
Rob Van Dam had a good career in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) before he moved to WWE in 2001 and joined forces with fellow-ECW veteran Tommy Dreamer.
He became a crowd favorite thanks to his daredevil attitude and high-flying style, but WWE could not utilize him properly.

He won the Hardcore Championship and Intercontinental Championship on numerous occasions before he became the WWE Champion for the first time in 2006 after he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at ECW One Night Stand.
RVD has been a hit inside and outside WWE
A year later, RVD was released from his WWE contract. He returned to the company in 2013 and took part in several big matches, including the World Heavyweight Championship and the Intercontinental Championship in this run. He continued to remain a crowd favorite during his second run too.
While he was in a few interesting feuds, he wasn’t making any progress which led to his second release from the company in 2014. He has since enjoyed runs in other promotions and currently wrestles for Impact Wrestling.
