When he first came to WWE, Michaels was one half of a fan-friendly tag team that had many teenage girls swooning and many young fans enjoying their skills in the ring. Their tandem offense, from such a young duo, was highly regarded at the time. After he and his partner in The Rockers Marty Jannetty split, Michaels catapulted to the top of WWE as the Heartbreak Kid.

Michaels in the ring was nothing short of phenomenal. From memorable feuds with the likes of Bret Hart, The Undertaker, Triple H and Vince McMahon, to hugely successful championship reigns as WWE champion, Michaels was recognized as the showstopper. After a five-year absence from the ring, Michaels was able to return and reclaim the championship that he would forever be synonymous with. Today, Michaels has been involved in professional wrestling in an array of ways. Currently, he has been helping the talent in NXT to further develop their skills and be the best they possibly can be.
