One of the hottest angles of the last decade for WWE was the invasion of The Nexus. Although short-lived as a stable, The Nexus ultimately led to the introduction of Bray Wyatt, Wade Barrett, Heath Slater and Ryback onto the WWE's main roster. John Cena, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were also both involved with the stable.

One thing that many people may not remember about The Nexus is not only that it also included Curtis Axel -- then known as Michael McGillicutty -- and David Otunga. The duo won the WWE Tag Team Championship on May 23, 2011 from Kane and The Big Show. The duo did not have a proper tag team name, and prior to their disbanding, they were not even part of The New Nexus since the stable faded away before the ended of the summer of 2011.

Curtis Axel is still on the active WWE roster, arguably achieving the biggest success of his career at the moment as one-half of The B-Team alongside Bo Dallas. David Otunga, believe it or not, is still employed by the WWE as a pre-show panelist on live shows. He is still under 40 years old and in great shape, so an in-ring return is not out of the question for Otunga.
