If EC3 does return to Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary, after what was a very underwhelming WWE run, I have no doubt at all that he will be crowned the brand new World Champion. This stems from the fact that he is a very talented individual, and the former WWE star has been the Impact Wrestling World Champion on two occasions already and will be looking to repeat the feat at Slammiversary 2020.

With all due respect to the other men in the match- Eddie Edwards, Ace Austin, and Trey, Impact Wrestling needs a big name to show up at Slammiversary and stun the world with a shocking headline so that people start watching the product once more. EC3, despite how his WWE run panned out, is a globally renowned star, and his presence may bring lapsed fans back to the product.
