I realise some fans may not agree with this choice and I understand that. However, regardless of your personal opinion, it is important to recognise how vital Hulk Hogan is in the evolution of professional wrestling.
If you were to ask random strangers who are not wrestling fans, to name one wrestler past or present, chances are they would mention Hogan. Hogan is undoubtedly the most polarising figure the sport has ever known and in my humble opinion, he's the greatest of all-time.

Everyone is well aware of Hogans recent years of controversy. Whether it be the tape or the leaked racial slurs that he used, Hulk Hogan has certainly earned himself a fair amount of drama in the past few years.
However, Hogan has not hidden his sins, he has faced them head-on and apologised profusely. Also, the Gawker trial is in the books, which Hogan won as well. All things considered, WWE has to do the right thing and allow Hogan an opportunity to come back and at the very least, offer a public apology to the fans of the sport of professional wrestling.

As far as another match is concerned, Hogan is in fantastic shape and in the right situation, it would be nice to see Hulkamania run wild one last time.
Jonathan Carpenter is a pro wrestling journalist at Sportskeeda. After obtaining a degree in political science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he started writing WWE articles in 2016. Jonathan believes integrity is vital in journalism and ensures his work is high on accuracy. He conducts in-depth research and verifies information from various sources before curating a feature.
Jonathan has engaged in many meaningful conversations with prominent pro wrestling personalities like Drew McIntyre and DDP. He grew up in Memphis, admiring Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan during WWE’s Golden Era in the ‘80s. He has attended many pro wrestling events and credits The Hulkster for making his childhood memorable.
Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
