Sammartino is now in his 80s

For our younger readers who might not be aware of the name, Bruno Sammartino is a legendary wrestler who made a name for himself in the WWE back when the company was still being run by Vince McMahon’s father.

An incredible wrestler though he was, Sammartino relied on his natural body strength instead of physically conditioning himself. He was always in good shape but never in great shape as you can see here:

Sammartino decided to change all that as he got older, though, and made a concentrated effort to make sure his age did not deteriorate his physical condition.
