#2 Is it time for AEW to add another Blanchard to their roster?
A sticking point for many wrestling fans since AEW got off the ground has been the apparent lack of focus on their women's division. A good portion of their women's roster is currently trapped overseas. The division has also witness an unfortunate string of injuries this year to talented performers like Kris Statlander and Dr. Britt Baker DMD. The latter has now made her return to in-ring action.
Even though these are valid reasons as to why their division is not quite where they would hope it to be, it hasn't stopped the fan cry online demanding that AEW fix these issues and improve this aspect of their company going forward.
There is a free agent currently on the market that would go a long way in improving that division overall going forward, and it shouldn't be that difficult for the company to contact her seeing as that her father Tully is already employed by them. We are obviously talking about the former IMPACT Wrestling World and Knockouts Champion, Tessa Blanchard.
While Blanchard's 2020 hasn't ideally been the best for her for a variety of reasons, her in-ring talent is undeniable. The talented wrestler is only 25 years old. With countless years of wrestling ahead of her, Blanchard is a talent that AEW can build their division around for years to come.
