Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has helped many current WWE Superstars over the years. Despite being away from the ring, he remains in touch with the product and those who are pushing the limits to breakthrough.
Zelina Vega is one current WWE Superstar who is very close to The Rock. The two have spoken about their friendship on a few occasions. Speaking on the Out of Character podcast, Zelina Vega discussed her friendship with The Rock after working together on the movie Fighting With My Family.

Dwayne Johnson offered Zelina a part in the movie and told her that she didn’t even have to audition for it.
"Then Dwayne calls me and goes, 'Hey, I've got this opportunity for you.' He told me that Paige has this documentary and he's going into detail about her family and this and that. He asked: 'Do you remember when she came back and beat AJ for the title? I want you to be my Divas Champion and you don't even have to audition for the part. I know you can do it.' I was like, what!" Zelina said.
The Great One also gave some valuable advice to Vega when she returned to WWE. She spoke to him just an hour before going out.
“Even the day I was coming back to WWE, maybe an hour before I went out, I called [The Rock] and went, ‘Hey, I’m nervous. How do I do this, how should I attack this?’ He was just giving me some good ideas and it comes from a really good place. I’m thankful for him,” Zelina recalled.
Vega has a bright future ahead of her in WWE. She recently won the company’s first Queen’s Crown. With The Rock’s support, she will likely become a major player for WWE in the years to come.
