Candice LeRae has been in her husband's shadow since she's joined NXT. Candice LeRae has started to step out of his shadow when she defeated Lacey Evans and took the fight to NXT Women's Champion (at the time) Shayna Baszler. Candice LeRae is a great underdog and she will eventually defeat a dominant champion such as Bianca Belair or Lacey Evans. Candice LeRae is an excellent wrestler that will do great as NXT Women's Champion. It will be a great, feel-good story (similar to when Bayley and Ember Moon both won the NXT Women's Championship).
