Ever since Edge has returned to WWE back in January in 2020, we have only seen the Rated R-Superstar appear on Monday Night RAW. However, as has been the case previously with WWE legends such as The Undertaker, John Cena and Triple H, Edge could be deemed as a "free agent", allowing the WWE Hall of Famer to appear on both RAW and SmackDown.
This would pave the way for Edge to potentially feud with a plethora of SmackDown Superstars. One such Superstar could be the former WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt.
Bray Wyatt vs. Edge would be a first-time-ever match that, until recently, was a dream match that we would only imagine about or play on one of the WWE 2K video games. The Fiend is arguably the most exciting and 'over' character in WWE right now. In a similar vein to his victory over John Cena at WrestleMania 36 in the Firefly Fun House match, a feud the Rated R Superstar could help elevate Bray Wyatt to another level in WWE.
Edge has spoken about wanting to help the younger talent progress to the next level during this WWE run, a similar act of kindness that Mick Foley once provided to a young Rated-R Superstar in 2006 at WrestleMania 22. An Edge vs. Bray Wyatt feud would undoubtedly be beneficial to both Superstars and the television audience at home.
