Cena and Lesnar tore down the house at WWE Extreme Rules!

John Cena called out The Rock on Raw after losing to him at WrestleMania 28. To his surprise, Lesnar came out instead and received a roaring reception from the fans in attendance.

Lesnar returned to WWE after retiring from MMA. The Beast Incarnate wanted to make it clear that he will be the top dog in WWE, as well. He came to the ring and delivered a massive F5 to John Cena, setting up a match at Extreme Rules.

Lesnar dominated the match, particularly in the initial stages. He even made John Cena bleed after he delivered a vicious barrage of elbows at the start of the matchup.

However, Cena staged a fantastic comeback and hit Lesnar with his signature Thuganomics metal chain, bloodying Lesnar. The Leader of Cenation eventually pinned him after he landed an Attitude Adjustment on the steel steps.
