Matt Hardy won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 after assistance from Bray Wyatt

WWE WrestleMania 34 saw the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal once again take place during the pre-show of the event. The match featured high profile former Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal winners such as Baron Corbin and Mojo Rawley.

The closing moments of the match saw "Woken" Matt Hardy, Rawley and Corbin as the 3 remaining WWE Superstars. In a shocking turn of events, Bray Wyatt suddenly appeared in the ring opposite Matt Hardy. The Eater of Worlds and "Woken" Matt had been feuding on WWE television for several months.

Their feud culminated in a match dubbed 'The Ultimate Deletion' on Monday Night RAW in which Hardy defeated Wyatt by throwing his opponent into the Lake of Reincarnation at The Hardy Compound. After the match, Wyatt was absent from WWE television for several weeks before returning at WrestleMania 34 opposite Matt Hardy.

To the surprise of the WWE Universe, Bray Wyatt assisted Matt Hardy in eliminating Mojo Rawley. Wyatt then distracted Baron Corbin, allowing Hardy to eliminate The Lone Wolf and win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The former rivals then posed in the ring to the adulation of the crowd inside the Superdome in a unique WrestleMania moment.
