Since its inception in 2002, the Elimination Chamber match has featured its fair share of monumental moments and exhilarating action. Of the 19 instalments that have happened thus far, over 50 Superstars have stepped inside Satan's Prison, and a far fewer amount have emerged victorious.
Virtually every elite star to have wrestled for WWE in the past 15 years has competed in an Elimination Chamber match at one time or another. Of course, the more matches they're involved in, the more experience they'll have the next Chamber matchup they partake in.
The Elimination Chamber is one of WWE's most anticipated stipulations whenever it is brought back, and this year appears to be no different.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Regardless of who walks out on Sunday as the WWE champion, it remains to be seen whether any of the Superstars vying for the prestigious prize will measure up to these five icons who have mastered the match type.
#5 Edge
It should come as no surprise that Edge has fared well in Elimination Chamber matches over the last decade given his Ultimate Opportunist nickname. He was merely a rookie on the rise when he made his debut inside Satan's Prison at New Year's Revolution 2005, but he proved that he could hang with WWE's top-tier talent.
Four years later at No Way Out 2009, Edge walked into the Elimination Chamber as WWE champion but was immediately eliminated by Jeff Hardy.

He still left the event with gold in his grasp, however, entering the Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship later that night and lastly eliminating Rey Mysterio to capture the title.
Merely months ahead of his in-ring retirement, Edge took part in an another Elimination Chamber match where he was actually successful in retaining his World Heavyweight Championship.
He had one of the all-time best Chamber performances starting out at No. 1 and became only the third man in history to win multiple Chamber matchups.
#4 Randy Orton
Having won the 2017 Royal Rumble match, Randy Orton thankfully won't have to step inside the Elimination Chamber this Sunday because he already has his title shot set for WrestleMania 33. Even if he was competing, the odds would be in his favour considering the number of Chamber matches that he has been involved in.
Orton wrestled in the second and third Elimination Chamber matches in 2003 and 2005 respectively, falling short of victory on both occasions. He was unsuccessful again in 2010, 2011 and 2013, but had strong showings each time.
At 2014's Elimination Chamber event, he had the odds stacked against him as the defending WWE champion, but being the snake he is, Orton took full advantage of the interference from The Wyatt Family and Kane to eliminate John Cena and Daniel Bryan from the bout and win his first Chamber match, retaining his title in the process.
#3 John Cena
Needless to say, no one has won more matches with a big fight feel to them over the course of their career than John Cena. That success has translated quite well to the Elimination Chamber, with him having won three of the five Chamber matches he has been a part of.
In 2006, Cena achieved the seemingly impossible when he survived the Chamber and walked away with his WWE Championship intact. He wasn't quite as fortunate in 2009, but it took finishers from three different Superstars to put him away that year.
While he failed to capture the WWE Championship inside the Chamber in 2014, he had success in the matchup for back-to-back years in 2010 and 2011. Whether he can repeat the feat on Sunday when he defends the gold against five hungry challengers is uncertain, though.
#2 Chris Jericho
No one in WWE history has come close to competing in more Elimination Chamber matches than Chris Jericho. Of the 19 that have taken place, he has participated in eight of them and has fared well on every occasion.
He took part in the first ever Elimination Chamber match in 2002, setting the tone for the rest of his performances inside Satan's Prison. From there, he went on to wage war inside the Chamber in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013, boasting ten eliminations in total (another all-time record).
Interestingly enough, only once has Jericho succeeded in winning an Elimination Chamber match in 2010, but it was widely regarded as one of the best ever. On that historic night, he pinned The Undertaker to pick up his sixth world championship.
#1 Triple H
Chris Jericho may have competed in the most amount of Elimination Chamber matches, but Triple H has won more than anyone with an unprecedented four victories. He nearly came out on top in the inaugural instalment in 2002, and although he was unsuccessful in his efforts, it was an epic match and arguably the greatest Chamber match to date.
Despite his shortcoming on that evening, he went on to win the next two Chamber matches, walking out with the World Heavyweight Championship both times.
It wasn't until 2008 that he stepped inside the demonic dome again, standing tall over Raw's five finest Superstars to become the No. 1 contender to the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 24.
He continued his strong streak in Elimination Chamber matches the very next year by pinning The Undertaker to clinch his 13th world title.
Following his failure to capture the championship in 2010's Chamber match, he hasn't competed in the demonic dome since, but perhaps it's only inevitable before he notches a fifth victory to further his own record.
