#2 The Shield is one of WWE's most loved stables
The Shield debuted at the 2012 Survivor Series PPV and quickly became one of the most dominant stables in WWE history.
It’s hard to find many three-man groups that dominated WWE or any other pro-wrestling promotions. The Shield, which consisted of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose (aka Jon Moxley) and Seth Rollins, was one of the few exceptions as they dominated WWE for nearly two years.
The Shield members were initially hired as mercenaries for CM Punk, but their partnership ended as the group gained massive popularity. They were nearly unbeatable as a team, losing only a few matches when they fought together. They even had an undefeated televised streak which lasted from December 2012 to May 2013.
The trio also destroyed every single top star that tried to go against them. Superstars like John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, and even The Undertaker failed to stop the Shield.
All in all, The Shield made a massive impact on WWE in only a couple of years. The group disbanded in 2014 after Seth Rollins turned heel and sided with The Authority.
