#4 WWE Hall of Famer Jushin "Thunder" Liger has never competed in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match
Legendary Japanese hero Jushin "Thunder" Liger has not only not competed in the traditional Survivor Series elimination match, but he has never competed at the Survivor Series pay-per-view. The majority of Liger's career has been spent in Japan, more recently with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he wrapped up his in-ring career in January 2020.
Liger was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2020, and competed at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2015 against Tyler Breeze. It would have been a surreal moment to see Liger in a traditional Survivor Series match, but it will forever remain a match that he has never competed in.
#3 WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino has never competed in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match
Bruno Sammartino's last officially recorded match took place in the summer of 1987. It was the same year that the Survivor Series concept was born. That means Bruno may have competed in the first-ever event had he been able to.
We were just a few months away from seeing "The Strongest Man in the World" compete at the inaugural event. It would have certainly capped off an incredible career had he had the opportunity to battle in the traditional Survivor Series elimination match before his retirement from the squared circle.
