#2 Daniel Bryan announces he is cleared to compete by WWE on Smackdown Live- 21 March 2018
The fairytale story of Daniel Bryan's rise to the top seemed to come to a very sad and unfortunate end when he announced his retirement in early 2016. Repeated injuries had forced him to stop doing what he loved the most and at what he was one of the best in the entire world.
After serving as a decent consolation by being Smackdown General Manager for two years, rumors about his in-ring return began to come by late 2017. Even if wanted to return, it was uncertain that WWE would let him. On a night of Smackdown, in the ongoing storyline involving Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan made the best announcement he ever had.
In a promo which was arguably the best of 2018, Daniel Bryan told the entire world that he was cleared to compete and would do so at WrestleMania 34. Fighting for his dreams made his dreams fight for him and the entire WWE Universe was filled with the utmost joy and excitement as their hero would return to action. It was a real-life underdog overcoming all odds story and brought several tears of joy to fans all over the world.
