Moxley wasn't a fan of his heel run
Punk's exit was the result of a string of issues he had with the company. One of the major problems he had was the fact that he wasn't thrilled with Triple H going over him in 2011, when he was the hottest Superstar in all of wrestling. While speaking with Cabana, Punk talked about how he once went off on Triple H and Vince McMahon in a backstage meeting. He told them that the push Bryan was receiving was something he should have gotten two years ago. He was also not happy with not being able to main event a WrestleMania in his entire WWE career.
Ambrose had similar problems. He didn't like his heel run one bit, and was also uncomfortable doing his promo on Roman Reigns, who was out to pursue his battle with leukemia. Moxley revealed that he refused to go on with a promo on Reigns, which was so distasteful that it would have resulted in a PR disaster for WWE.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
