When Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, there was a roar of approval from the WWE Universe. Somehow, over time, this approval has gone down because as has been mentioned before, WWE does a far better job when it comes to booking heels as compared to the babyfaces in their roster.
While it doesn't make sense for someone from SmackDown to become the WWE Universal Champion, I really do think that it will be interesting to see the transformation of Seth Rollins if he were to lose the Universal Championship. Chances are, at the rate that things are going, that the audience will be overjoyed if The Fiend were to become the Universal Champion, leading to Seth Rollins turning on the WWE Universe.
This makes all the sense in the world, because we remember how good Seth Rollins used to be as a heel, once upon a time. And for him to revert to this character would allow for Drew McIntyre to potentially turn babyface and potentially get over as the face of WWE RAW.
