The Empress of Tomorrow holds the record for the longest undefeated streak in WWE. A streak that was made during most of her NXT run but got shattered on her very first WrestleMania at the hands of Charlotte Flair. Asuka remained undefeated during her entire NXT run and had to vacate the NXT Women's Championship before she got called up to the main roster.
While Asuka received a major push on the main roster initially, winning the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble, it was all downhill from there. Even though Asuka managed to win the SmackDown Women's Championship, it was a highly unmemorable run and she was merely a transitional Champion.
Asuka is now part of a tag team along with fellow Japanese Superstar Kairi Sane. The duo known as Kabuki Warriors is hardly significant even though they are being managed by Paige. While WWE continues to march forward on their road to Women's Evolution, it is unfortunate that Asuka continues to be overlooked.
