There's nothing more heart-warming yet fun than seeing underdogs in WWE win by defeating all the odds, and then engage in goofy antics rather than delivering a rousing speech. That's exactly what happened on this week's WWE NXT. After registering a genuinely shocking victory over the team of Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter did a pretty funny dance backstage. They looked overjoyed and on top of the world during the interview.

While their win could be partly attributed to NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai's interference, they nevertheless won and found their place in the second round of the first-ever Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

That said, this tournament can prove to be a showcase for several women in NXT who have struggled to find TV time owing to a stacked roster. Especially a talent like Catanzaro, who had a standout moment in the 2019 Royal Rumble match, yet found herself sitting on the bench for most of the following two years.
