After The Hurt Business beat him down earlier in the night, R-Truth vowed to appear in the Men's Rumble at WWE Royal Rumble 2021. However, Adam Pearce asked him to defeat AJ Styles on WWE Raw to find his place in the match. As the case was with Ricochet and Drew Gulak, even Truth failed to beat Styles and qualify for the Rumble. Though his loss was disappointing, his performance in the match was beyond hilarious.
Truth even paid homage to his hero John Cena by using a lot of specific offense in the match, apart from throwing Styles over the top rope, which would have counted as an elimination if this was the Rumble match.

However, the funniest moment of the bout came when Truth came across Omos staring at him intimidatingly. The look of despair and terror on the 24/7 Champion's face was palpable and was hilarious for viewers. While it would have been great to see Truth in the Rumble match, he was in top form on this week's WWE RAW and entertained the fans with his comedic chops.
