Kevin Owens was sidelined with a knee injury in October last year. After undergoing successful surgery, it was estimated that he would be out for a number of months. During the Prize Fighter's time-off, several photos of him surfaced where he was seen spending time with family.

The Internet world was quick to point out how Owens' time off had benefited him, as he was getting in better shape with each passing day.

Fast forward to the end of the ear, The McMahons announced that Owens would be returning to WWE TV sooner than later. In the following weeks, video packages started airing, highlighting Owens' last few days off the road with his family, ahead of his impending return.

The video packages attracted the attention of Rusev who then posted a savage tweet regarding Owens' transformation.
