The recent WWE RAW episode featured the first two-hour show since 2012. However, Triple H may already be facing some problems with the new format.
Last month, it was announced that WWE RAW's running time would shift from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. to 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. from October 7, 2024, until the brand moves to Netflix in January. This week showcased the new two-hour format, and while there were notable moments, Triple H is already facing challenges regarding the shorter episodes.
For this list, we will look at five issues Triple H needs to fix with the new two-hour format of WWE RAW.

#5. Some fans think WWE RAW felt rushed under the 2-hour format
One of the primary concerns about WWE RAW’s transition to a two-hour format was pacing issues, which had been evident on SmackDown. Many believed this wouldn't be a problem for the Monday show, but unfortunately, that proved not to be the case.
The show felt rushed and despite ending the episode an hour early, many fans noticed that there were still a lot of commercial breaks and filler segments that took up too much time. The beginning of this week's show even started with two interferences, Seth Rollins to CM Punk and Jey Uso to Seth just to get a transition between segments.
#4. The Judgment Day holds the World Tag Team Championship hostage
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day won the World Tag Team Championships in June, but they have only had one televised title defense since. This has led many fans to feel that the duo is merely holding the titles hostage while other more deserving tag teams get wasted on the roster.
The World Tag Team Championships became lost in the feud between The Judgment Day and The Terror Twins, with the gold being used as a prop for the heels, and one that doesn't even hold any importance in the storyline. Due to Finn and JD being busy against Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, they can't fulfill their duties as champions on WWE RAW.
#3. Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan should focus on other superstars for now
The match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan at Bad Blood received mixed reactions from the audience. While many enjoyed the action and the former attacking Dominik Mysterio, who was dangling from the shark cage, the ending saw a disqualification finish and Raquel Rodriguez's return, which many found lackluster.
Although Liv has defended the Women's World Championship more times than JD and Finn, it may be time for her to find a new rival to rebuild her status as champion. Meanwhile, Ripley has reached a level of stardom where she no longer needs the gold and should focus on feuding with someone who can match her intensity.
#2. More WWE RAW stars will be put on the sideline
Another issue with the Monday show cutting their run-time is that there will be now less time to feature different stars on the brand. This week's episode already missed out on some top stars of the brand.
Stars like Chad Gable and other "midcarders" might find it hard to find a spot on WWE RAW moving forward, especially if the company puts more focus on more top stars like Seth Rollins going forward.
#1. The women's division can continue to struggle
There's always going to be some room for improvement for the women's division in WWE, and the shorter RAW format may not be helping their case. After the recent episode, it shows that the two-hour format might already cause a problem for the division.
This week's WWE RAW featured only one women's match, a 10-woman tag team match, with no notable segment aside from Liv Morgan for fans to look forward to in the women's division. This will certainly be an issue for Triple H if this kind of treatment of the division continues.
