#3 Finn Balor losing to Bruan Strowman

It was one of the most exciting main event matches that WWE has had in quite a while. Unfortunately for Finn Balor, who came up short against The Monster Among, it was also another example of Balor's position in WWE's pecking order and a pretty good sign that WWE doesn't have any plans to put him back into the title picture.
WWE then reemphasized that point a week later when they had Balor defeat Strowman by disqualification after Kevin Owens interfered in a rematch between the two. While both matches did do well in showcasing just how much Balor can thrive in the underdog babyface role, the loss and disqualification win was a huge halt in his momentum.
In the end, the WWE might be using Balor more and more in an underdog babyface role, which does seem to suit him very well, but none of that matters if they don't have him come out with the win every once in a while. In fact, one has to wonder if the WWE Universe will give up on Balor if this kind of booking continues.
