What did you think of the main event match between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe at Backlash?

While this failed to beat the number one pick on this list, (more on that later), it was a clear indicator that WWE has no interest in giving up on Roman Reigns and The WWE Universe told the company what they thought about that in return. If nothing else, this segment could be a turning point in WWE's belief in Reigns as the top guy.

Whether this segment succeeds in doing that remains to be seen, but it is worth mentioning that a lot of fans reportedly walked out during the main event match between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe. It was also a match that really didn't have much energy to it and the result was clear from a mile away.

In the end, it is not known if Vince McMahon and the WWE see this as a turning point for Reigns' future, but it was the first instance of Reigns' inability to get over hurting WWE's bottom line. Interestingly enough, only days after that incident WWE decided to have him lose a Money In The Bank qualifying match, which effectively removed him from the title picture.
