WWE has released a record number of superstars in recent months, but even the company had second thoughts and decided to bring back some of them back.
Samoa Joe has been brought back to the NXT brand whilst Zelina Vega recently made her return on SmackDown and was inserted into the Monday in the Bank ladder match.
The company could continue this trend and bring back several other stars that have recently been released, with Braun Strowman and Aleister Black being the names at the top of the list.

Since Black is the husband of Zelina Vega, there has been talk of the former NXT Champion making his return. Braun Strowman, meanwhile, was such a shock release that many members of the WWE Universe believe the company will opt to bring him back at some point.
Several big names have been released by WWE throughout the course of the pandemic era. Some of these stars are yet to sign with a new promotion, which means that they could be open to a return.
