Change.
It might not always be the most pleasant thing at first, but it can slowly become loved over time. Just look at Roman Reigns, who started his singles career as one of the most despised babyfaces in all of WWE and slowly has become one of the company's fan favorites.
While change can be weird at first and just seems out of place, it can slowly turn into something really special. It sometimes even goes on to make the product even better than it already is and only opens the door to more change later on down the road.
With that being said and WWE coming out with some pretty interesting content over the past couple of months, here are five somewhat subtle but very noticeable changes that the company has made to the product.

#5 Minimizing The Club
AJ Styles and The Good Brothers teamed up earlier this year to reform The Club and while the group started red hot, they quickly lost that momentum. In fact, between Styles still being a midcard champion and Gallows and Anderson losing The tag team titles, it's becoming obvious that the group is slowly becoming an afterthought.
Yes, they have had the group go up against Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman on a few occasions, and they play the role of a heel faction quite nicely - but it pales in comparison to what could be done with the faction. Unfortunately for Styles and The Good Brothers, their momentum is tapering off and the company seems to have nothing of note for them.
With that being said, it honestly seems like The Club storyline wasn't well thought out or just was a temporary deal to gain ratings. Either way, the Original Club is in a virtual limbo right now and will most likely continue to fall down the ladder as time goes on.
#4 Pushing new stars
Cedric Alexander, Ali, Chad Gable, Buddy Murphy.
It's an impressive list. All names that were on the bottom rung of the WWE ladder just one year ago and are now find themselves having one of the best runs of their respective careers.
Gable now finds himself in the finals of The King of The Ring tournament after a string of impressive wins, Ali not only bested Bryan in a tag team match but now appears to be getting an amazing push with vignettes and all. Even Murphy has scored a win over the former WWE champion Bryan.
Beyond just being big wins for all three Superstars, the move represents a huge change in the company's booking of young stars. It also shows that WWE is finally open to building young stars for the future, which should be one of the most promising changes that fans have seen in a while.
Maybe it doesn't last forever and maybe WWE will eventually go back to their old formula, but for now, the surprise wins are extremely fun to watch. It's also fun to see a future Superstar have their shining moment right in front of your very eyes and see what the company does from there.
#3 Focusing on the women's tag team division
Has anyone else noticed WWE's renewed focus on the women's tag team division?
While the company had largely relegated that division to a sideshow act after the blunder at WrestleMania 35, it has slowly started gaining traction since Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross won the titles. Furthermore, WWE seems to be teasing a slow-burn heel turn for Bliss, which should be fun to watch unfold as time goes on.
With that being said and the women's tag team titles getting a dedicated weekly spot on the company's shows, it's obvious that WWE has some big plans for the division. In fact, between rumors of them doing something with The Four Horsewomen and the dynamic between Cross and Bliss gaining more focus, there is a lot to work with here.
In the end, it's all going to depend on where things go from here and if the commitment to showcasing the division stays the same. Interestingly enough, however, WWE has packed so many different storyline dynamics to explore in the tag team division that it would be almost impossible to not keep it going.
#2 The 24/7 championship
While the 24/7 Title belt was originally lauded by fans as just a big ugly belt and a far cry from the iconic hardcore title - as well as just a dumb gimmick looking to capitalize on nostalgia - it has quickly gained acceptance thanks to WWE's unique storytelling. The company has gone all out in scripting different scenarios that were fun to watch play out on tv and generated actual interest in the belt.
It's also helped reinvigorate the career or R-Truth and made a bonafide star out of Drake Maverick.
Unfortunately for fans that have come to love the title, WWE seems to be treating it as an afterthought at the moment. Of course, this can always change, especially based on what they have done in the past with it. For now, though, it is being largely relegated to short segments and publicity stunts.
In all honesty, The 24/7 title segments were a great way to break up both RAW and SmackDown Live, thus why its absence is so noticeable. It was also a great chance for WWE to craft some pretty creative stories that will unfortunately never be followed up on again. But, there's nothing that says they can't come back to it again soon, especially since fan interest is so high.
#1 Storyline progression
Let's be honest here. WWE hasn't always been the best at progressing a storyline in a meaningful way.
Fortunately, they have improved immensely in that department lately. They also seem to be leaving the WWE Universe on the edge of their seat and the end of their shows each week, which makes fans anxious to watch what happens next.
For example, the Roman Reigns saga with Rowan was a brilliant case of who did it and while it didn't have the revelation that fans were probably hoping for, it's a nice example of the company putting more into their storytelling. Furthermore, it was fun to watch unfold week after week.
Reigns isn't the only one benefiting from this kind of storytelling, however, as the company continues to raise the stakes in several of their top feuds. In fact, everyone from the mid-card up seems to have some kind of meaningful purpose now - well, except for The OC, as mentioned before - and it's honestly refreshing to see the renewed interest in the details.
