#1 Storyline progression
Let's be honest here. WWE hasn't always been the best at progressing a storyline in a meaningful way.
Fortunately, they have improved immensely in that department lately. They also seem to be leaving the WWE Universe on the edge of their seat and the end of their shows each week, which makes fans anxious to watch what happens next.
For example, the Roman Reigns saga with Rowan was a brilliant case of who did it and while it didn't have the revelation that fans were probably hoping for, it's a nice example of the company putting more into their storytelling. Furthermore, it was fun to watch unfold week after week.
Reigns isn't the only one benefiting from this kind of storytelling, however, as the company continues to raise the stakes in several of their top feuds. In fact, everyone from the mid-card up seems to have some kind of meaningful purpose now - well, except for The OC, as mentioned before - and it's honestly refreshing to see the renewed interest in the details.
