WrestleMania is all about moments, and that's what Vince McMahon designed it to be. It's been a huge success all 34 years, so can't fault what works. One of the most anticipated moments of WrestleMania 33 was John Cena proposing to Nikki Bella.

So the backstory was that John Cena and Nikki Bella teamed up to take on the It Couple Miz & Maryse. For quite a while, there were rumours going about that John Cena would be proposing to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania, and the leader of the Cenation was certainly asked about it quite a lot.

In the WWE 24 documentary, Nikki Bella is seen embracing McMahon after their match and proposal, with the chairman in tears of joy. Bella revealed that only Cena and McMahon knew of the plan, but in reality, everybody had known about it much before the match was even official.
