Cass will likely get a big push upon his return

Enzo Amore and Big Cass were a very popular tag team in WWE. They never had the chance to hold the NXT or Raw tag team championship and were broken up too soon. WWE higher-ups saw the potential in Big Cass as a solo competitor. He feuded with Amore and Big Show and was gaining momentum but was very unfortunate to suffer a serious injury.

Big Cass tore his ACL when he landed on his knee while attempting a big boot in a match against his former partner and current Cruiserweight champion, Enzo Amore. The 7-footer will likely miss Wrestlemania next year and return to the scene by mid-year in 2018 He will likely get a big push upon his return and may finally get his wish to compete for the Universal Championship.
