Zelina Is Eliminated By Shayna Baszler In 2020 Royal Rumble

Zelina Vega began the night on a high note with her business partner Andrade retaining his United States title on the pre-show against Humberto Carillo. She entered the Rumble with a pretty good draw and was hoping to finish her night just as it started. Unfortunately as you can see above, SHayna Baszler would choke out Zelina before throwing her over the top rope.

Zelina, however, had a very interesting outfit as she looked like Sindal from Mortal Kombat. This isn't the first time Vega has channeled her inner video game loving inspiration for her gear. Last year in the Royal Rumble match she wore a "Vega" inspired gear. She also appeared in MK cosplay, along with The New Day, during the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event earlier last year.

You can tell from the colors and the fit of the costume that she was looking to throw a little tribute to the Mortal Kombat character and franchise. I look forward to seeing more of Zelina in the ring, as she is incredibly athletic and want to see what video game character may be her next inspiration.
