#3 This will be the sixth consecutive WrestleMania where Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns has been in a major Championship match
Over the years, there have been a small handful of Superstars who consistently headlined WrestleMania. In the first nine WrestleManias, Hulk Hogan ended up in the main event on eight different occasions. From WrestleMania 15 to WrestleMania 17, The Rock headlined for three consecutive years, and more recently, John Cena also main evented five times in the span of eight years from WrestleMania 22 to WrestleMania 29.
With WWE’s continuously growing main roster, it is tough for any Superstar to keep the limelight on them. However, this doesn’t seem to apply to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, who, between the two of them, have been part of a major Championship match at WrestleMania for the past five years in a row.

Not only did they compete against each other at WrestleMania 31 for the WWE Championship and WrestleMania 34 for the Universal Championship respectively, but Reigns also fought for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 32 against Triple H, while Lesnar faced Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 33 and defended the same Championship at WrestleMania 35 against Seth Rollins.
The last time neither of these two was in a major Championship match is back at WrestleMania XXX when Daniel Bryan beat Batista and Randy Orton for the WWE Championship.
This year they’ll be extending this record for a sixth time, as Brock Lesnar will face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, while The Big Dog will be looking to beat Goldberg for the Universal Championship.
