With the culmination of WrestleMania 35, WWE is on it's way to a fresh new start again. We recently witnessed the Superstar Shake-up on RAW and SmackDown, leading to a lot of talents changing brands. The next scheduled PPV is the annual Money in the Bank PPV that will crown a new Mr. and Miss Money in the Bank 2019.
But after that, WWE has a huge glorified live-event cum PPV scheduled. Last year we witnessed WWE capturing a huge unexplored market when they signed a 10 year deal with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is said to be worth billions of dollars. As part of the deal, WWE had two huge shows, "The Greatest Royal Rumble" and "Crown Jewel", in the Middle East last year.
This year, WWE is again scheduled to fly to Saudi Arabia on June 7 for a yet to be named PPV. With a little more than a month to go, expect to hear an announcement for the same from the company anytime. With that in mind, WWE would have already decided on the matches to be on the show, so can we expect to see the build for those soon?
In this article, let's take a look at the 5 interesting matches WWE could be planning for the upcoming Saudi Arabia PPV.

Do let us know your opinions on what matches should be on the card.
#5 Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre for the Universal Championship
Seth Rollins won the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35 by famously slaying the Beast, Brock Lesnar. With him as the champion and Lesnar potentially gone, who could be the one to step up and challenge the BeastSlayer for his Universal Championship? None other than, the Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre pinned Rollins a few weeks before WrestleMania in the main event of RAW, albeit some distraction from Brock. With him continuously feuding with The Shield, Seth may very well be his next target. WWE would be looking to have a solid match-up for the Universal Title at the Saudi PPV, and these two could just be what they need.
#4 The Viking Experience vs The Usos for the RAW Tag Team Championship
Yes, don't be surprised to not see Hawkins and Ryder in the heading. I don't see them holding on to the titles for long. With these two teams of The Usos and the Viking Experience (yes, get used to that name) on RAW, I can see one of them becoming the RAW Tag Team Champions very soon.
The winning team would go on to have a match at the Saudi PPV with the other one mentioned here, in what would be an amazing display of Tag Team wrestling. I'm very excited to watch the War Raiders, oops, Viking Experience on RAW, and am looking forward to their journey on the main roster.
#3 Finn Balor vs Buddy Murphy for the Intercontinental Championship
This past Tuesday, the Intercontinental Champion, Finn Balor, got shaken-up to the SmackDown roster and will now be competing on the blue brand. Another top acquisition of SmackDown was the former Cruiserweight Champion, Buddy Murphy.
I'm personally very glad to see Murphy being on the main shows instead of 205 Live, just because of the immense potential this guy has. With Finn looking for a new #1 contender, Murphy could just be the correct opponent for Balor.
A match between these two would certainly be thrilling, that will surely win the hearts of thousands of people sitting in the stadium in Saudi Arabia.
#2 Kofi Kingston vs Lars Sullivan for the WWE Championship
Other than Finn Balor and Roman Reigns, another huge acquisition for SmackDown last week was the Freak, Lars Sullivan. Sullivan debuted on the main roster on the night after WrestleMania and ever since has been laying havoc on many superstars and legends.
With Daniel Bryan reportedly injured, this could be a great opportunity for someone like Sullivan to step up and challenge Kofi Kingston for the title. The only problem with this match would be that none of these two are in a position to take a pin right now. Maybe a no contest finish could work and further their feud, but the match-up would be very exciting.
#1 The Undertaker vs Elias
WrestleMania 35 was the first time The Undertaker did not show up at WrestleMania in 19 years. He did make up for it though by appearing the next night on RAW and taking out our very own Elias.
Many fans are speculating it was the start of their feud leading to a match at the Saudi Arabia PPV. Yes, The Undertaker is rumored to get into the ring in the Middle East this time as well. He was a part of both Saudi shows last year, as he is one of the biggest names in pro wrestling's history to still be an active in-ring competitor.
If this match does happen, then it'll be a huge boost for the career of Elias. After all, sharing the ring with one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time is no small deal.
