Unlike all the other ex-WWE names from this list, Jon Moxley and Miro have faced each other as Dean Ambrose and Rusev in singles competition before they went to AEW.
But things have considerably changed for Dean Ambrose ever since he became Jon Moxley again. Not only is Moxley the type of character everyone wanted him to be in WWE, but the AEW World Champion seems untouchable at this point.
Moxley is the perfect candidate to bet some money on since he has remained consistent with his AEW character so far. So, if there ever was a perfect opportunity to book a Dean Ambrose vs Rusev rematch in a better way, AEW seems like the perfect place for that to happen.
AEW's stage would be ideal for the two former WWE stars
Not only would it be an exciting feud in terms of name-value, but it might also show how far both of these men have come since leaving the promotion that made them famous in the first place.
Jon Moxley is currently embroiled in a program with Lance Archer, and Miro has to move past on-screen weddings to move up ranks in AEW. But it's still a no-brainer that this match could make up for a great storyline somewhere down the road.
