But in this instance there were too many superstars in the ring at the same time trying to throw their opponents over the top rope.

When Big Show entered as the 30th entrant in the 2009 Royal Rumble match, he was greeted by 14 other superstars in the ring. This is the record for the most number of superstars in the ring during a Royal Rumble match.
