Roman Reigns didn't main event Extreme Rules
Roman Reigns' match against Bobby Lashley was expected to main event Extreme Rules since Reigns has main evented a large number of pay-per-views over the past year. Aside from Fastlane which was a SmackDown exclusive pay-per-view, Reigns has main evented every pay-per-view that didn't have a multi-man match as their main event.
