The Miz and John Morrison will defend their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships for the first time in almost eleven years this weekend when they step inside the Elimination Chamber. The duo won the titles at Super ShowDown 2020 when they defeated The New Day, but this weekend they will be presented with a much tougher test.
Miz and Morrison were a tag team in WWE more than a decade ago, and are former Tag Team Champions, but Morrison was released from the company back in 2011 and it led to Miz becoming a successful singles star.
The gap that John Morrison has had between his release and return to WWE means that the last time Miz and Morrison defended tag team titles was at WrestleMania 25 where they were unsuccessful and lost the Championships to Carlito and Primo Colon.
Hopefully, the outcome is different for Miz and Morrison on Sunday night when the odds will be stacked against them.
