With that said, the event has some extremely interesting statistics that are almost impossible to believe. Let’s take a look at 5 of these jaw-dropping statics, and how they have impacted the history of the business.
#5 Vince McMahon: The Lucky One
Vince McMahon is probably the biggest name in the world of wrestling. However, he is more famous for being the Chairman and the lead caller in the WWE more than his in-ring capabilities.
Even though that is the case, that hasn’t stopped him from having some iconic rivalries and matches in the WWE which helped shaped what the business look like today.
Hulk Hogan is one man who was the cornerstone of WrestleManias. He worked the last match of eight out of the initial nine WrestleMania events.
Similarly, Shawn Michaels is another man who is synonymous to the world of wrestling and has worked some of the best matches at WrestleMania events.
With that said, only one man has faced both the superstars at WrestleManias. That man is none other than Vince McMahon himself!
That is correct, the heel character McMahon has battled both top superstars in individual WrestleMania matches, losing both the matches but marking a distinctive feat for himself.
#4 Shane McMahon: The Most Successful in the Family
Shane McMahon is the Commissioner of SmackDown and a part-time wrestler. You may even go ahead and call him ‘The Best in the World’ after his controversial World Cup victory at Crown Jewel 2018 in Saudi Arabia.
Even though that’s the case, he is still the least powerful man in the family of McMahons. Or at least on television screens. While it seems like Stephanie McMahon has the reigns secured after Vince McMahon, one can argue that even Triple H has more authority than Shane.
Even though the McMahons may not be the best wrestlers around, they love to take to the ring every now and then.
Vince has the greatest number of matches among them but has failed to ever win a match at WrestleMania even though he’s featured in three individual matches at the events.
Stephanie, on the other hand, has only featured in one WrestleMania match which was at WrestleMania 34 with her husband Triple H as her partner.
The duo lost to the team of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey as Stephanie tapped out to Ronda.
Shane McMahon has been the most successful of the blood relatives as he has not won one, but three matches at WrestleMania events.
He beat X-Pac at WrestleMania XV and even beat his father Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 17. On WrestleMania 34, he won a tag team match with Daniel Bryan by his side as the two defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
#3 Dolph Ziggler: The Unlucky One
Dolph Ziggler is one of the most experienced men in the WWE today. He has run through many gimmicks which have enabled him to face the best stars in the WWE and also win some of the top championships in the business.
Even though Ziggler has travelled everywhere, fought everyone, and won almost everything in the WWE, he is yet to achieve one major feat in his career. That feat is having a singles match at WrestleMania.
Ziggler is currently a very well-respected wrestler who is known for both his in-ring and mic skills. He has just helped catapult Drew McIntyre to the top of the roster and has done such favors to many great wrestlers in the industry today.
However, he is yet to receive a singles match at WrestleMania which could actually complete his entire career. He has wrestled at WrestleMania before, mainly working through battle royals and tag team matches.
He’s even faced Team Hell No at WrestleMania XXIX in a tag team match with Big E. But the biggest prize of being handed a single’s match at WrestleMania still remains to be handed to him.
#2 Brock Lesnar: Not So Successful
Brock Lesnar is the most brutal force in the WWE right now. Since his debut, he has managed to manhandle every single superstar who has crossed his way, be it the Big Show, The Undertaker or Braun Strowman.
His move to the MMA from the WWE and eventual return has helped him become an even bigger deal in the world of wrestling, and he sits atop his own league of elite superstars who don’t need to make their way out to the middle to win titles and collect their paychecks.
One of Brock Lesnar’s most significant feat is ending The Undertaker’s undefeated feat at WrestleMania, which made him seem like an even more dominant superstar.
However, it may come as a shock to many that Lesnar himself has quite an ordinary WrestleMania record. He has a 50%-win percentage in the event till now, as he has won three out of the six matches he has competed in at WrestleMania.
Lesnar has lost two singles matches at WrestleMania, one to Triple H and the other to Goldberg, while also lost the WWE Championship to Seth Rollins when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at the event.
His singles wins have come against Kurt Angle, Goldberg, and Roman Reigns.
#1 The Undertaker: The Evolutional Streak
The Undertaker is famous for his streak at WrestleMania. The man has also won the most matches the Grandest Stage of Them All and remains WWE's’ most prized possession to date. This has made him the longest tenured wrestler in the WWE.
One of The Deadman’s most iconic victories was when he beat Ric Flair at WrestleMania 18. Both men were at the top of their game and had a really good match at the event. The No Disqualification match ended after almost 19 minutes of nonstop action.
WrestleMania 21 saw The Undertaker battle a very young Randy Orton who was the hottest prospect in the company at the time. Even though Orton had a good chance of winning the match, he fell to The Deadman as most others had before him
The Animal Batista too tried his luck at beating The Undertaker at WrestleMania 23. Batista too was at the top of his game at the time and was young and energetic, but lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Undertaker after falling prey to him
Triple H has been the unluckiest man when it has come to WrestleMania, and three of his numerous WrestleMania loses have come against The Undertaker.
Overall Triple H has lost the greatest number of matches at WrestleMania, followed by Mr. WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels.
Looking at the pattern, any fan can figure that the reason for pointing out these superstars is to show that The Undertaker has beaten every single member of the faction Evolution at the WrestleMania in single’s competition. This is a remarkable feat for The Deadman.
