Edge and Christian had their own story of being portrayed as brothers but were then retconned as childhood friends.The two started wrestling in 1997 with their team known as 'The Brood'. They were popular among people with their comedy and mockery.

The faction broke in 2001. Performing as individuals, Edge won 11 WWE Championships along with many other titles. Christian also enjoyed various title runs with WWE and other wrestling promotions like TNA and ICW.
Both reunited in 2011 and appeared on different events before Edge retired due a neck injury followed by Christian.
