The Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Detriot, Michigan was the venue with the largest ever WWE audience for nearly thirty years when it hosted Wrestlemania III all the way back in 1987. This was the Golden Age of wrestling and it was hardly surprising that fans packed into the Silverdome considering the magnitude of the main event.
