The WWE Championship will be on the line at Super ShowDown as Brock Lesnar defends against Ricochet. This match has been in the making for a while. Lesnar attacked Ricochet on the RAW before the Royal Rumble, laying out the talented Superstar with a low blow.

Ricochet repaid the favour at the Royal Rumble, catching an unaware Lesnar with a low blow of his own while The Beast was facing off with Drew McIntyre. McIntyre used the opportunity to hit Lesnar with a Claymore Kick, eliminating him from the Royal Rumble match.

Ricochet then went on to win a #1 contender's match on RAW to book his match with Lesnar at Super ShowDown tonight.

On paper, Lesnar versus Ricochet is a mismatch and many fans expect The Beast to steamroll his challenger. However, as one of the most promising stars on RAW, Ricochet deserves better than that. WWE could decide to protect Ricochet and have the match end in DQ or count-out. If it ends in DQ, we could see Drew McIntyre come out to attack Lesnar.
