#3 An Intercontinental Title match is added

It's clear that Braun Strowman is the next in line for an Intercontinental Championship opportunity. He defeated Cesaro and then Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match. We're aware that the two men will be participating in the Royal Rumble 2020 match, but that doesn't mean that they can't pull double-duty.
After all, Roman Reigns and King Corbin will be pulling double-duty and so could Shorty G and Sheamus. Either way, a title match would be a good boost to the PPV. It would be even better if Strowman becomes the Intercontinental Champion on the night, though getting eliminated in the Royal Rumble match won't look so good afterward.
However, the good thing is that they can protect him by having him not take the pinfall. Shinsuke Nakamura's reign as Intercontinental Champion has been fine, but nothing overly-notable - only a step above his forgettable United States Title reign.
As of this writing, it hasn't been announced yet but that could change on the SmackDown before the Royal Rumble or on social media afterward.
