If the story is anything to go by - then Becky Lynch is almost all but certain to beat Asuka at the Royal Rumble 2020. We love the story of this rivalry and how Asuka is the only woman who Becky Lynch hasn't gotten a win over.

It's good when things fall into place, especially since they faced off at the Royal Rumble last year - with Asuka walking in as the defending SmackDown Women's Champion and making The Man tap out clean in an excellent opener to the show.

Moreover, Asuka has been getting the better of Lynch these past few weeks, indicating that Becky Lynch will finally get the win back. However, what if she doesn't?

While we agree that Becky Lynch needs the win and the story warrants it, WWE doesn't do long-term storytelling often. It would mean the continuation of their rivalry up until WrestleMania, or they could drag it out longer.

We could see a situation where WWE makes the last-minute change to pull the trigger on Asuka. If done right, it can work wonders in the long-run for Becky Lynch.
