As mentioned earlier, AEW Dynamite has been shifted to Saturday this week due to the NBA Playoffs, and as a result of the same, will be competing head-on with NXT TakeOver: XXX. But as per the rumors, NXT will be going through a similar change in early September.

As reported, the NHL Playoffs could lead to NXT being moved to Tuesday for the first week of September. NXT moved to the USA Network last year and has since been considered as the official third brand of WWE.

If that is the case, NXT and AEW's weekly shows might not clash directly for the next few weeks. This week, the ratings of the Gold and Black brand of WWE rose significantly in the absence of its direct competition.

The "Wednesday Night War" between AEW and NXT has been a massive topic of discussing among the pro-wrestling fans with both the shows performing exceedingly well and giving a tough competition to each other. While Dynamite has performed significantly better, NXT hasn't been far behind.
