#4 Jeff Hardy reveals desire to defeat Roman Reigns for WWE Universal Championship
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been dominant ever since capturing the title in 2020. The Tribal Chief has successfully defended his gold against the likes of John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Cesaro and many more.
In recent weeks, many members of the WWE Universe have clamored to see Jeff Hardy challenge The Head of the Table for the Universal Championship. The Charismatic Enigma admitted that he does have ambitions to defeat Reigns and hold the Universal Title:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"There's three I think, more than anything. The first is to be the Universal Champion, ideally, defeating Roman Reigns. That's one of my dream matches because his stuff is so powerful now. I got to mix it up with Seth [Rollins] and Dean [Ambrose] before he left. Roman's the one guy I never came in contact with. I just kind of feel like I belong in that story, and that I will belong in that story," said Hardy.
Jeff Hardy has never held the Universal Championship before in his career. Perhaps he can climb the mountain before his career is over.
#3 Jeff Hardy on the possibility of Brother Nero returning to WWE
Jeff Hardy has competed under numerous personas during his professional wrestling career. One such character is "Brother Nero" from the "Broken Universe" created by his brother Matt Hardy in IMPACT Wrestling.
WWE fans saw a version of "Broken Matt" in WWE with the "Woken" Matt Hardy character. However, the WWE Universe only saw a brief cameo appearance from Jeff Hardy's "Brother Nero" character.
The former United States Champion admitted that he would be open to portraying a version of Brother Nero on WWE television:
"Brother Nero's another one man. You could even delete the brother and it could just be Nero because that's my middle name and still kind of do the same deal and a little more amplified and exaggerated. Could be very cool because it was so fun to be Brother Nero with Broken Matt," said Hardy.
Many WWE fans, and Matt Hardy, were critical of the booking of the "Woken" persona. Perhaps the company could redeem itself with an updated version of the Brother Nero character.
