When ECW returned in 2006, fans were stoked. The old company had ended in 2001, with former owner Paul Heyman having to file for bankruptcy.

So when the show returned 5 years later as a part of WWE, it's hard to think that old-school fans wanted to see the Zombie.

Appearing on the show's premiere on SyFy, The Zombie shuddered to the ring, groaned and was beat up by the Sandman, all the time being mocked by Joey Styles and Tazz on commentary.
