This match was heavily rumored to headline WrestleMania 35 but unfortunately, WWE had to nix all the plans because of Roman Reigns' fight with Leukemia. The rumor mill was abuzz with the rumor that The Rock would return at Royal Rumble and then win the match to challenge the Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Show of Shows.
